At The Yellow Spot Clinic, we believe that geography should not be a barrier to quality continence care. Our telehealth service allows patients across Australia access to consultations with our Continence doctors.
Telehealth appointments are particularly well-suited to follow-up consultations, review of bladder diary data and investigation results, medication discussions, ongoing management check-ins, and initial consultations for patients in regional or remote areas.
What to expect
A telehealth appointment at The Yellow Spot Clinic follows the same thorough, personalised approach as an in-person visit. Before your appointment, we may ask you to complete a bladder diary or questionnaire and have any recent test results available. During the consultation, we will take a detailed history, discuss your concerns, and develop or review your management plan.
Our telehealth platform is secure and easy to use - we will send you a link ahead of your appointment. No special software or technical expertise is required.
Is telehealth right for you?
Telehealth is a suitable option for many - but not all - continence consultations. Some presentations benefit from an in-person physical assessment, and we will always advise you honestly about what will best serve your clinical needs. Where an in-person assessment is required, we will work with you to arrange this as conveniently as possible.
