Initial appointments
All initial assessments are conducted by our Continence doctors, even if you have been referred to our surgeons.
Appointments generally last 30 to 45 minutes so please allow adequate time when booking your appointment.
All patients are encouraged to arrive with a full bladder ready to do a urine flow test on arrival.
Referrals
As our Continence doctors are specially trained GPs, a referral letter is not required for medicare purposes.
A referral from your family GP or paediatrican can be useful to outline what investigations and treatment has been considered previously
It also allows our doctors to collaborate with your other clinicians.
If our Continence doctors feel referral to our Urological surgeons is required, then they will arrange the referral on your behalf.
What To Bring To Your Appointment
Please ensure to bring the most recent radiology, pathology and a health summary from your doctor.
Complete all patient registration form and questionnaires that are required.
